Profession of Faith

We, of the "Christian Hope Catholic Church" believe in the ONE true and living God, and of his son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the "Apostle's Creed", which states:

"I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge both the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church, the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.

NOTE: I have received many E-mails and telephone calls concerning our belief in the Holy Catholic Church. I am asked if I am a Catholic, to which I have to answer "Yes, we are all Catholic if we are Christian." That is not to say we follow the doctrine of the "Roman Catholic Church".

The church, Catholic, is not the same thing. Another word for "Catholic" is Universal. We pray to the Same God, we accept the Same Jesus as Christ and we have but One baptism."

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.
